Your first property

This is the implemented workflow, demonstrated with fictional property data. The example does not claim that a property is owned, verified or compliant.
Name the property
Add its name and address, plus a UPRN if known. The system assigns one stable Property Identity.
Record sourced facts
Add information with a source, date, state and visibility. Corrections remain in the history.
Share only by choice
Preview approved public fields before an authorised person publishes them. Private information stays private.
The lasting record
One canonical identity used in Property Identity and Atlas.
Both entry points use the same property ID, organisation permissions, facts, evidence, document library, timeline, preview and publication rules. A change made in either view is a change to the same authorised record.
Stable identity
Addresses and identifiers can change without creating a second property authority.
Attributable information
UPRN, ownership-related information and evidence retain their source and confidence state.
Controlled sharing
Draft preview and explicit publication keep private and public information separate.
